Gazprom Neft Jan–Sep IFRS net profit plummets 89% to 36.2 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Nov 19 (PRIME) -- The net profit attributable to shareholders of Russian oil company Gazprom Neft plummeted by 88.7% on the year to 36.193 billion rubles in January–September, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)m the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Revenue decreased by 22.5% on the year to 1.45 trillion rubles in the period, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) shrank by 50.2% to 276.452 billion rubles. Adjusted EBITDA went down 46.5% to 329.232 billion rubles.
Capital expenditures of Gazprom Neft grew by 2.5% to 313.333 billion rubles, with investment into exploration and development rising 17.8% on the year and investment into refining falling 21%.
